Every fan of the National Hockey League knows the Montreal Canadiens are an absolute mess right now, but could they really be so bad that they would consider moving some of their most valuable assets?

During a radio interview with TSN, French language reporter for RDS Francois Gagnon stated bluntly that Carey Price is the only truly untouchable player in Montreal at the moment, that means even guys like Max Paciorrety and P.K. Subban are not safe. As insane as this might sound, he went into even more detail on the possibility of a Subban trade.

"The big question for me, and it's a huge question what do you do with P.K. Subban?"

"Starting next year he will have a no trade clause for the remainder of his contract which is huge."

"Do you think you could trade P.K. Subban? In my book 2 months ago I would have said no... If you would be able to do something involving P.K. Subban and bring a really really, I mean an elite #1 center... then it would be a question."

If Subban were to be traded it would create absolute pandemonium in Montreal, Subban has been a huge part of that community and has made massive commitments to that community that would span the length of his contract, any move of this time would have to result in an insane return to even be considered.
