Habs issue statement amidst reports that Guy Lafleur is “living his last days”

With social media full of conflicting reports today concerning the health of Hockey Hall of Famer Guy Lafleur, the Montreal Canadiens have released a statement asking the public to please respect Lafleur's privacy.

Lafleur has suffered through health problems the past few seasons and has been battling lung cancer since 2019. 

Obviously we wish nothing but the best for Lafleur and we pray that he has the strength to pull through to experience better days ahead.
