In case you missed it last night, the Montreal Canadiens earned a 4-2 victory over the visiting Buffalo Sabres.

I assume that if you're Canadian you missed it because most Canadian sports fans were watching the Game 7 of the ALCS between the Seattle Mariner and the Toronto Blue Jays. The Jays, of course, won Game 7 thanks in large part to a 3 run home run by 36 year old outfielder George Springer in the 7th inning.

That home run occurred post-game for the Habs while they were taking questions in the dressing room from reporters, but a large number of the team's players were actually in the hallway watching the Jays game on a TV. Habs forward Juraj Slafkovsky was actually speaking with reporters at the moment that Springer hit the home run and cameras caught the raw reaction from Slafkovsky's teammates.

Check it out:

Gotta love that! At the end of the day we're all just sports fans, eh?
