Fans of the Montreal Canadiens who have been chomping at the bit to see young forward  Juraj Salfkovsky, this year's first overall pick at the National Hockey League Entry Draft, in action won't have to wait much longer.

According to an official announcement from the Canadiens on Saturday, Laval Rocket head coach Jean-Francois Houle has confirmed that Slafkovsky will in fact play in the Canadiens prospect game on Sunday when they take on the prospects of the Ottawa Senators. That is of course huge news given the sheer amount of hype surrounding Slafkovsky in a hockey market as intense as Montreal, but Houle wasn't done there.

Joining Slafkovsky in the prospects game on Sunday will be another first round pick of the Montreal Canadiens, this time in the form of defenseman Kaiden Guhle. Guhle was selected 2 years earlier in the first round (16th overall) of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft and has since been plying his trade in the Western Hockey League as a member of the Prince albert Raiders and most recently the Edmonton Oil Kings.

For many fans this will be their first chance to see two young players that will likely be an important part of the Canadiens' future in one form or another, so don't miss it.
