If you're a Montreal Canadiens fan that was looking forward to a return from Carey Price in 2016, you're going to have to wait a while longer.
The Canadiens provided an update on the status of their injured goaltender on Monday, and despite the fact that head coach Michel Therrien expressed that his recovery was progressing well, it's clear Price has a ways to go still.
"Carey Price's rehab is going well, but he is not ready to get back on the ice just yet," said Therrien.
Price has been out of the line up since suffering his second serious injury of the season back in late November, and Montreal has struggled without him, playing less than .500 hockey since his injury.
If Price is not back at some point during this week he will have eclipsed his projected recovery time.
