Hagel takes a 5 minute Major for hit that takes Barkov out of Game 2

With his team down by a goal and with just 10 minutes to play in the 3rd period, Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brandon Hagel has been handed a 5 minute Major penalty for interference after taking out Florida Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov.

That's interference, no doubt. The puck is NOWHERE near Barkov and he gets absolutely trucked. But a Major penalty? I'm not sure. It looked like shoulder to shoulder to me. It'll be interesting to see if Hagel receives a call from NHL Player Safety, stay tuned.
