We've got a whopper of an NHL waiver wire today with a half dozen players up for grabs.

The New Jersey Devils must have a trick up their sleeve as they themselves have placed three players on waivers. Devils GM Tom Fitzgerald is dumping Maxim Tsyplakov, Evgeny Dadonov and Luke Glendening.

The Blues have placed forward Mathieu Joseph on waivers for the purposes of a contract termination. He'll become an unrestricted free agent if he clears waivers tomorrow.

Additionally, it looks like the Vegas Golden Knights are also working on something as they have placed former 7th overall pick Alex Holtz and depth forward Cole Reinhardt on waivers.

The Tampa Bay Lightning have placed 25 year old forward Curtis Douglas on waivers also.

Finally, the Philadelphia Flyers have placed 34 year old forward Garrett Wilson on waivers after calling him up from their AHL affiliate and signing him to an NHL contract.

You have to imagine that Holtz, Tsyplakov and Douglas will all draw interest from teams around the NHL. Don't be surprised to see any of these men in a new NHL jersey come tomorrow.
