Just when you think you've heard about every hockey injury that can exist, Philadelphia Flyers forward Garnet Hathaway comes up with a new one: The dreaded ruptured sphincter.

Well.. not really.

But Hathaway did appear to take a shot to the keester courtesy of an open bench door when he missed a reverse hit on Carolina Hurricanes forward Nik Ehlers this evening.

Yeesh... that's gonna require a few days of padded jeans for rehabilitation.
