Connor Hellebuyck gives up a goal on the very first shot of Game 7.
Things are off to about as bad a start in Game 7 as you could have imagined if you're a fan of the Winnipeg Jets.
The Jets, who are facing off against the St. Louis Blues on Sunday night with their season on the line, have coughed up a goal on the very first shot of the game after a complete break down in their own zone.
St. Louis Blues forward Jordan Kyrou will get credit for the goal after a 2 on 1 resulted in some good passing between the Blues, passing that completely fooled Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck.
Hellebuyck was well out of his net by the time that Kyrou put the puck in the back of the net, which isn't a great look given the intense criticism that Hellebuyck has faced in these playoffs.
The one silver lining here for the Jets is that this collapse came just 1 min and 10 seconds into the game, giving them plenty of time to make up for their mistakes.
