Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe has one year remaining on his current contract, and he's now become the first Leafs bench boss since Pat Quinn in 2004 to lead them to a postseason series victory. But just how much rope does he have left from team president Brendan Shanahan as well as new Leafs general manager Brad Treliving?

This prediction from analyst Jack Han isn't exactly the most favorable outcome for Keefe as well as the Leafs, as he believes that a coaching change will be made by Christmas.

As for Keefe himself, he said earlier this week that he's not concerned with his status.

"Something that's been mentioned a number of times from Brad that we're going to get to that but really both of us have been focused on our own individual roles," Keefe said.

"I'm not too concerned about it at this point in time, I've enjoyed my time working with Brad and have been so focused on this process that the other stuff to me will work itself out over time."

As you know, the Leafs have hired former Tampa Bay Lightning and Ottawa Senators head coach Guy Boucher along former Leafs defenseman and St. Louis Blues assistant Mike Van Ryan as assistant coaches on Keefe's bench.

Could Boucher be leading the way by the time the holidays roll around?
