Henrik Lundqvist is a big part of the Rangers success in the Playoffs, especially this year. After a lukewarm year that had many doubting his skills and health, he shows his true colors in this years post-season.
However, it came close to simply never happening. Back at the 2000 draft, Lundqvist was a far cry from being crowned the King. In fact, he was an unknown quantity that came on the Rangers radar almost by chance. Sportsnet took the time to look back at this piece of the Rangers history.
