The Flames lock up their 115 point man.
This just in, recently acquired Calgary Flames forward Jonathan Huberdeau has reportedly signed an eight year contract extension worth $10.5 million.

Huberdeau, of course, was acquired by the Flames in a blockbuster trade with the Florida Panthers that saw star forward Matthew Tkachuk heading to Florida. Tkachuk immediately signed a contract extension with the Panthers, but Flames GM Brad Treliving took a risk on acquiring Huberdeau since he was unsigned. This evening’s news should help Flames fans rest easier now though. Their 115 point man isn’t going anywhere.
