Huge controversy surrounding Carey Price after the Habs' victory!

Wow, really?

The Montreal Canadiens recorded their third win of the season tonight, against the New York Rangers, at the Bell Center. As usual, all the players reunited at the center of the ice and raised their sticks to thank their fans for their support. All but one: Carey Price. Instead, the 30-year-old went straight to the locker room.

Let's just say his decision didn't go unnoticed. We could see a bunch of Habs fans complaining on social media, mentioning how bad Price has been playing since the start of the season and how he shouldn't be presumptuous.

The star goaltender is considered by many to be the world's best goaltender, but he's been playing like one of the worst. Before tonight's game, he had a 3.65 goals against average, a 0.883 save percentage and a record of 2-6-1.

Was this some kind of payback towards the fans, who mock-cheered him earlier this week?

Or perhaps Habs fans are just a bit too sensitive?
