Huge hit leaves player in a bloody mess on the ice.

This was a nasty one.

While European hockey leagues aren't generally known for their physical play there was an absolutely devastating hit in the Finnish league this week when former Washington Capitals first round draft pick Joe Finley crushed Michel Miklík,

Miklik went down hard on the ice and it was clear he was completely out of it even when he was responding to the trainers trying to assists him. To make matters worse his face appeared to be busted open in several places, leaving him a bloody mess.
