Hurricanes bring kids out on the ice for Halloween themed post-game celebration
Mini Seth Jarvis! Love this!
The Carolina Hurricanes absolutely THUMPED the visiting Boston Bruins this evening by a frightening score of 8-2.
It was a Halloween horror show for the Bruins, who may be digging the grave on their own season just a month in. They've struggled to put together consistent performances so far this season and they now sport a mediocre 4-7-1 record and sit dead last in the NHL's Atlantic division.
As for the Hurricanes... well it was a festive Halloween atmosphere inside Lenovo Center.
Following the game the team invited a group of children in costumes, including a young man dressed as Hurricanes forward Seth Jarvis, onto the ice to take part in their post-game 'Storm Surge' celebrations.
The best part?
The kids threw Halloween candy to fans over the glass.
