IG model Mikayla Demaiter straps on the pads one last time for viral video
Can she stop an NHLer? And what went down in the locker room afterward?
HockeyFeed
You may recall a couple years back that we covered a story on 20 year old Mikayla Demaiter from Chatham, Ontario, the goalie who went virals as "the world’s sexiest goaltender" and while that moniker may have been true at the time, it's even more true now.
Demaiter has since given up her passion for hockey in favor of a very successful modeling career, but she recently strapped on the pads one last time for a photoshoot so hot that it probably melted the ice under her skates.
Check it out:
Look, she's obviously a very attractive woman but her stick positioning in these two photos is absolutely atrocious! I'll refrain from making an obnoxious "five hole" joke but... I mean... it's riiiiiiiight there.
In any case, it should be noted that Demaiter is dating NHL forward Kurtis Gabriel and the pair are pretty active together on social media. To be perfectly honest, it looks like they've essentially transitioned from hockey to living the "influencer lifestyle" on social media.
Not my cup of tea... I'm a hockey fan, after all... but I'm not gonna hate on someone for making money the easy way.
In any case, the pair actually do put out some quality content, mostly on Gabriel's Youtube page.
Check out this video of him going one on one against her in a shootout:
But let's get real... the real content you're after is below.
Check it out:
The blonde bombshell put up a 2.50 goals against average and .909 save percentage in 20 games with the PWHL’s Bluewater Hawks in her last season of competitive hockey. But let’s get real, you’re not here to pore over stats. Let’s get back to more Instagram shots:
