The New York Rangers were listed as participants for the 2024 NHL Stadium Series, and as has been the typical custom of goaltenders, there will be special equipment and masks worn for the occasion.

For Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin, he's once again knocked it out of the park with a wickedly clean and yet sophisticated mask artwork design that he'll be wearing on Sunday at MetLife Stadium against the in-state rival New York Islanders.

The artwork comes from Dave Gunnarsson of DaveArt, a Swedish-based artist who boasts nearly 3/4 of National Hockey League goaltenders among his clientele.

And as always, Gunnarsson includes a detailed description of the artwork:

"NewDaveArtMaskAlert 🚨 It was so awesome to paint and create Igor Shesterkin’s new Stadium Series mask🗽. A Rangers design in total sync with the beautiful Stadium jersey⭐️. Thank you Igor for the NYR paint ride😊🙏🏻❤️ @shesterkinigor @nyrangers @nhl #nhlstadiumseries #daveartfamily #daveartthecradleofcreativity mask: @bauergoalie #nhl #goaliemask #hockey #igorshesterkin #goaliemask"

The Rangers and Islanders will take on one another in the Stadium Series this Sunday, February 18 at 3:00 PM EST.
