We can all get down with that.
Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas certainly took a calculated risk when he made the decision this offseason to overhaul his goaltending, moving on from Jack Campbell and Petr Mrazek in exchange for the duo of Matt Murray and Ilya Samsonov.
And despite a few early bumps in the road, they've fit in nicely with their new team as they're currently ranked second in the Atlantic Division standings thanks in large part to their play between the pipes.
And thanks to his victory this afternoon over the Philadelphia Flyers, Samsonov has entered himself into the Leafs history books, as well as the NHL. He becomes the 4th goaltender to ever win each of their first nine games with a new team, joining Gilles Gilbert, Wayne Stephenson, and Gord McRae. He's also tied Bruce Gamble in team history with the most wins at home to start a season.
