The Toronto Maple Leafs lost goaltender Ilya Samsonov on Saturday night to an undisclosed injury, though the team disclosed that they didn't expect him to miss any time.

The good news for the Russian goaltender is that he has now personally disclosed that he should be able to be back in action in short order. He explained that the source of his injury was hurting his calf muscle while going against the post, but that he's now pain free.

Samsonov has racked up a record of 19-6-7 this season, his second with the Leafs, with a 3.12 goals against average and .889 save percentage.

However, head coach Sheldon Keefe has indicated that it will be Joseph Woll getting the start tomorrow night against the Washington Capitals, who are suddenly red hot and back in a playoff spot.
