Imminent trade coming to Calgary?

NHL insider confirms Treliving is not done.

Trade chatter is quite loud in the recent weeks, and apparently the Calgary Flames are still a big part of it.

NHL insider Darren Dreger jumped on Calgary's TSN 1050 on Tuesday morning, and revealed some interesting activity from the Flames GM Brad Treliving on the market. He is apparently not done scouting the trade block to make a trade before the deadline.

Dreger added what area the Flames GM is looking to tweak some more. Treliving is looking to shift things on the back end, as other general managers are looking for a boost there; the Toronto Maple Leafs and Buffalo Sabres are said to be on the market for a quality defender.

The Pittsburgh Penguins, who are actively shopping veteran blue liner Ian Cole, are also active on the market.

"I'm not exactly sure what sort of meddling he might be doing on their blueline, but that's the word on the street, that he'd be at least willing to consider some sort of tweak there."

We will have to keep an eye on the Flames, who have a 13-9-1 record, and hope to clinch a playoff spot this spring.
