Longtime Buffalo Sabres play by play man Rick Jeanneret has just half a dozen games left in his illustrious career before he turns off the microphone for good.
Jeanneret has been the voice of both TV and radio broadcasts for the Sabres since their second season in 1971 and on Friday night he'll see his name go up into the rafters in Sabres history. As you might imagine, the Sabres have managed to see out the affair, one of the few sell outs this season.
