Incredible piece of Whalers history rests in a Hartford scrap yard

In case you missed the story earlier this week, old school Hartford Whalers fans thought that they had uncovered a part of the team’s history when it was discovered that a Whalers branded zamboni was residing in a Hartford area junk yard.

The discovery went viral and Whalers fans from all over New England were clamouring to purchase the ice resurfacer. In fact, WWE superstar C.M. Punk was reportedly in the mix to buy the zamboni, as well.

We don't know which rink the mystery #Whalers Zamboni cleaned ice for nor who painted it.
