As if they already weren’t banged up enough this season, the Detroit Red Wings have lost yet another key player in their lineup.
According to head coach Derek Lalonde, veteran defenseman Ben Chiarot is considered “week to week”:
The blue liner is in his first season with the Red Wings after agreeing to a four year contract this offseason. He's tallied five goals with 13 assists along with a less than stellar -27 plus/minus rating.
