Injury forces Coach Montgomery to make a lineup change for Game 6

This just in, the Boston Bruins will be without the services of forward Danton Heinen for Game 6 this evening. In his place will be Jon Beecher.

The Boston Bruins will have to go back to the drawing board after they missed their first of three opportunities to eliminate the Toronto Maple Leafs from the Stanley Cup Playoffs, dropping last night's Game 5 at TD Garden in overtime after Matthew Knies scored the game-winner in the extra session.
However, the Bruins failed to resemble a team poised for postseason advancement, as they were consistently outskated and outworked by the more determined Leafs. Toronto surged with a 12-2 shots advantage in the opening 20 minutes and managed to score just over five minutes into the contest, setting the tone.
While the Bruins were able to work their way back and cut into the shot disparity, they were unable to get more than one puck past Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll, who started in place of the struggling Ilya Samsonov and turned in a fine performance with 27 saves.
And the fact that the Bruins allowed themselves to be outplayed by their rivals isn't sitting well with head coach Jim Montgomery, who pulled no punches as to how he was feeling afterward.
"I'm still pissed off from last night, to be honest," Montgomery said today. "I don't understand or accept our play from last night ... So I'm gonna be pissed off until puck drop tomorrow night."
"Our crowd is unbelievable, so you'd think that would get us off to a great start, but it didn't."
However, Montgomery is confident in his team's ability to be able to handle their business away from home.
"It's so much easier to eliminate outside noise when you're on the road," he explained. "These guys are watching other playoff games together, they're going for meals together, we have team meals together, so it's a little easier to stay dialed in. And you're talking hockey a lot."
The Bruins and Leafs will reconvene tomorrow night at Scotiabank Arena starting at 8:00 PM EST.
