Injury Report: Bad luck Canucks get MORE bad news
Keystone Press

According to a report from The Province newspaper’s Ben Kuzma, Vancouver Canucks forward Loui Eriksson will not join the team for it’s upcoming road trip.

Eriksson went hard into the Calgary Flames net after being pushed from behind by Tanner Glass on the back check.

Check it out:

Looks pretty harmless, but Eriksson did not return in the contest and has been ruled out of at least the team’s next five games on their eastern road trip.

In three games so far this season, Eriksson has produced just one assist and has played a diminished role under new Canucks head coach Travis Green. Last season, his first with the Canucks after signing a HUGE $36 million deal, was the worst of his career since his rookie campaign. The 32-year-old winger managed just 11 goals and 24 points in 65 games, this following a 30 goal, 63 point campaign from a year prior.
