Injury Report: Defenseman traded before the deadline is out.

Another bad news is coming from Pittsburgh as the Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan confirmed defenseman acquired before the deadline is out.

Ron Hainsey, 35-years-old, is week-to-week dealing with an upper-body injury. It's bad news for Pittsburgh as  "week-to-week" designation is NHL injury speak for not great news. Playoffs start in less than 4 weeks.

The Pens now have 11 injured or hurt players currently. Ron Hainsey, Carl Hagelin, Trevor Daley, Kris Letang, Olli Maatta, Bryan Rust, Evgeni Malkin, Scott Wilson, Tom Sestito (no longer suspended and ready to play), Patric Hornqvist, Mark Streit and Matt Cullen (returned from the injury list last game).

As for Hainsey, he played 10 games with his new team. He scored 0 goal and registered 1 assist showing a +2 plus/minus so far.
