Injury report: Top defenseman, already injured!
Will he be better in time for the start of the season?
HockeyFeed
Bad new for the Montreal Canadiens, who try new combinaisons on the blue line in the past few days at training camp.
One of their top defensemen suffered an injury and was absent from training camp on Saturday. Blue liner David Schlemko reportedly suffered a hand injury, and his now listed as day-to-day.
Many experts expect Schlemko to become Shea Weber's defensive partner this season. The coaching staff was most likely looking to create a good chemistry between the two defenders during training camp.
Hopefully, his status remains the same, and he gets better quickly.
