Ottawa Senators defenseman Johnny Oduya did not participate in practice today. He is said to have a lower-body injury - not much detail was given on his status from head coach Guy Boucher.

Oduya didn't look out of place last night in a shootout loss to the Washington Capitals, but he left with an injury, and looked pretty frustrated as he left to the dressing room.

The Senators are still without Erik Karlsson, who was thought to make his return Saturday night, but he is still practicing in a non-contact jersey, which makes it unlikely that he suits up quite yet.

This could potentially be good news for star prospect Thomas Chabot, who was sent down to the Belleville Sens recently - he may be called up to replace Oduya if he isn't ready for tomorrow night's match.
