Injury update: Two players listed as 'day-to-day'

The Philadelphia Flyers will be without a couple young players for at least the next few days.

Taylor Leier is dealing with an 'upper-body injury'. He missed the team's last practice and was replaced by Matt Read in this afternoon's match against the Edmonton Oilers.

This is Read's first game this season, after being recalled from the AHL.

Jordan Weal, also out with an upper-body injury, was replaced by Jori Lehtera. 

These are minor injuries, to be sure. Just ask the Boston Bruins about the injury bug.
