Injury woes continue for Evgeni Malkin.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have been without superstar forward Evgeni Malkin for multiple games already but it's not over yet.

Earlier today Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan announced that Malkin continues to be day to day with what was described last week as a nagging lower body injury. It's unclear what the ailment is exactly but Malkin was once again absent from the morning skate.

Sullivan also announced that Malkin would not play this evening, so that much is official, although the head coach did not share his thoughts on whether or not he would be available following tonight's contest.
