I've said it before and I'll probably end up saying it again, do not mess with Edmonton Oilers enforcer Zack Kassian.

On Tuesday night Kassian dropped the gloves with Columbus Blue Jackets veteran center Brandon Dubinsky, something that turned out to be a huge mistake for Dubinsky.

Immediately as the two men squared off Dubinsky was hit with a hard left hook to the face, and we believe that is the bunch that has resulted in severe damage to his face.

Blue Jackets insider Aaron Portzline is reporting that Dubinsky suffered a fractured orbital bone and a fractured cheek around his left eye, and also needed stitches both below and above that eye.

The injuries are so severe that Portzline is reporting this is an injury that could keep him sidelined for up to two months, a heavy cost for a last minute fight in the third period of a 7-2 loss.
