Insider shares a huge update on Dylan Larkin.
Dylan Larkin was knocked out on Saturday night, now NHL insider Kevin Weekes has an update.
A National Hockey League insider has just shared a huge update on the status of injured Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin.
On Sunday afternoon, insider Kevin Weekes took to social media to report that his sources have informed him that all scans on Larkin have come back negative thus far. Although this is very positive news for both Larkin and the Red Wings, Weekes adds that there remains no timeframe for his return to the team.
Larkin was knocked unconscious in a very scary scene on Saturday night after he was on the receiving end of a blow to the back of the head courtesy of Ottawa Senators forward Mathieu Joseph. Many were quick to call for Joseph to be suspended as a result of his actions, especially given the history between the two men, however the National hockey League's Department of Player Safety has not given any indication that discipline will be forthcoming for Joseph at the time of this writing.
Stay tuned for more on this developing story.
