The New York Islanders handed the Colorado Avalanche just their second regulation loss of the season on Thursday night and the ending was pure chaos.
As the final horn sounded, scrums broke out, and officials scrambled to keep players separated while they headed to the dressing room. Avalanche’s Josh Manson, perhaps upset over the 6-3 loss, went after Kyle MacLean, and Islanders teammate Scott Mayfield jumped in, escalating tension further.
