What a wild way to end a once promising career
The Pittsburgh Penguins announced today that they have placed 31 year old defenseman Matt Dumba on waivers for the purposes of contract termination.
Dumba is in the final year of a two year contract that pays him $3.75 million per season and if he goes unclaimed on waivers tomorrow then he will officially become a free agent.
Dumba played just 11 games with the Penguins this season and 27 games with the team's AHL affiliate.
