As part of our Countdown to Puck Drop series during the month of September, today we take a deep dive on the Boston Bruins.
After a lot of hard work (and changes), the Bruins clawed their way back into the playoffs last spring. Fans are hoping they will be able to Build from there and do better this season.
After a coaching change, and a few tweaks to the lineup (like losing Colin Miller to the Vegas Golden Knights), the Bruins have key players in place to succeed.
Brad Marchand had a breakout season last year, scoring 39 goals and 85 points total. David Pastrnak, who the Bruins are trying to hold on to, is proving fans can finally forget about Tyler Seguin.
Patrice Bergeron has a great shot to win, once again, the Selke Trophy and his teammate David Krejci could register 60 points, if he can remain healthy.
Tuukka Rask has all the skills to be an elite National Hockey League netminder. Defensemen Zdeno Chara might give everything he has in the tank to win another Stanley Cup, before the young Charlie McAvoy takes over.
Great things ahead!
