Jack Johnson sums up the NHL's pause with a perfect quote

With the NHL resuming games following an extended Christmas Break due to an outbreak of COVID-19 amongst its players, things somewhat feel normal again. 

I mean... yes, there are still games being postponed nearly every day and the league has nearly 100 games to make up, but at the very least things are as close to normal in the United States as they can be. Fans are in the stands and games are being played. Really, that's all we can hope for given the state of the world these days.

While most players visited with family during the holiday break, Colorado Avalanche defenseman Jack Johnson did things a little differently.

Check out this quote from Johnson that, to me, perfectly sums up things these days:
