On Saturday night, the Stars and Kraken clashed for Game 6 of their second round series and with their backs against the wall the Kraken responded early. The Kraken would score 4 goals in just over 20 minutes of action, resulting in Oettinger being pulled after a very short outing.
It would be Yanni Gourde that would open the scoring early for the Kraken.
The Stars would quickly tie things up, but Jordan Eberle would restore the Kraken's lead.
Eeli Tolvanen was up next to give the Kraken their first two goal lead of the game.
Tye Kartye would eventually chase Oettinger with the Kraken's fourth of the night.
