UPDATE: Dallas Stars captain Jamie Benn has been tossed from Game 5 after absolutely manhandling Winnipeg Jets forward Mark Scheifele. With the Jets up 3-0 in the 3rd period and with Benn's frustration boiling over, the Stars' captain got tangled up with Scheifele and ended up popping both Scheifele and the linesman with a huge left.

Check it out:

Benn was assessed a game misconduct for this, but somehow, someway... the Stars end up with a 2 minute powerplay after referee Wes McCauley assessed penalties on both sides. Figure that one out...

The White Out in Winnipeg is in full effect!

Winnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck is in top form this evening, leaving his playoff struggles on the road and getting back to his usual self in the confines of Canada Life Centre.

Hellebuyck made perhaps his best save of the post-season with a beautiful windmill save on Dallas Stars forward Matt Duchene:

Flashing the leather!

Shortly after, Jets forward Mark Scheifele broke the ice and gave his team a 1-0 lead with a wild bank shot goal that snuck past Jake Oettinger.

And just like that the Jets are in control in Game 5!
