In case you missed it last night, the Dallas Stars managed to wrestle home ice advantage back in Game 3 of their Western Conference Final matchup against the Edmonton Oilers.

The Stars took Game 3 in Edmonton by a score of 5-3 this evening to give themselves a 2-1 series lead.

The Oilers came out hot and earned a 2-0 lead through 20 minutes, but Stars forward Jason Robertson took the game over from there. The speedster from Arcadia, California scored his first career playoff hat trick and helped the Stars pull off an improbable come back.

It was a heroic performance from Robertson, the type of performance that will go down in team history. After the game though, Robertson was nonchalant about his goal scoring prowess and maybe even hinted that it's easy to score on a sub-par NHL goalie like Stuart Skinner. In fact, some fans feel that Robertson threw a direct shot at Stuart with his quotes during his post-game press conference.

Check it out:

"I got the first one, and then I'm like okay I'm going to shoot everything."

To be honest, I don't see what the big deal is... but Oilers fans are losing their minds online over this one. Calling out Robertson for being 'classless' and a 'big mouth'. C'mon... the guy just stated facts. When goal scorers are scoring they tend to shoot everything. He didn't mention a single thing about Skinner or the Oilers' goaltending.

In any case, Game 4 goes Wednesday night in Edmonton and you just KNOW that Robertson will be firing early and often.

Oh, how an intermission can change a hockey game.

While the Edmonton Oilers looked to be in full control in Game 3 of the Western Conference Final against the Dallas Stars through 20 minutes, but now they're just barely hanging in there.

The Oilers lit up the Stars 2-0 in the first frame, but that all changed in the second period.

The Stars came out hot and managed to put up three goals in just 3:33 to take a 3-2 lead midway through the hockey game!

It's all Edmonton Oilers in the early going of Game 3 this evening.

The Oilers are carrying the play and currently spot a 2-0 lead in Game 3 of their Western Conference Final matchup against the Dallas Stars.

Leading the way is superstar captain Connor McDavid who has a goal and an assist through his first half dozen shifts. McDavid's goal, to give the Oilers a 2-0 lead, was the 100th Stanley Cup Playoffs point of his career.

Watch him redirect this smart play from defenseman Matthias Ekholm:

Again, it's all Oilers in the early goings of this one. Stay tuned.
