Jets and Panthers swap goalies in one for one trade!
The Panthers are ALL over the trade market today!
UPDATE: It's official now, the Jets acquire Driedger from the Panthers for Kahkonen.
This just in from NHL insider Frank Seravalli, the Florida Panthers and Winnipeg Jets have hooked up on a goalie trade with goaltender Chris Driedger heading to Winnipeg and goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen heading to Florida.
As Seravalli points out, Driedger is a Winnipeg native while Kahkonen will fit in nicely with the Panthers' Finnish contingency. Stay tuned for official confirmation of the deal from the teams.
