This evening, The Winnipeg Jets are taking on the Panthers in Florida. If the Jets get a momentary respite from the cold weather of the incoming Manitoba Winter, they certainly won't rest tonight as they look to bounce back from a terrible 4-0 loss to the Avalanche on home ice and get back to their winning ways.

With a W against the Panthers, the Jets would earn their 5th victory in 7 games in what is already a pretty good run of form. To achieve this, Winnipeg coach Paul Maurice has kept faith in his lineup as it already is. No changes at all will be made to his formation for today's game against the Panthers despite getting shut out by the visiting Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday.

Here is the Jets' projected lineup for this evening's matchup in Florida according to NHL.com correspondent Alain Poupart:

Forwards:

Kyle Connor - Mark Scheifele - Patrik Laine

Nikolaj Ehlers - Blake Wheeler - Jack Roslovic

Andrew Copp - Adam Lowry - Mathieu Perreault

Joona Luoto - David Gustafsson - Logan Shaw

Defencemen:

Josh Morrissey - Tucker Poolman

Dmitry Kulikov - Neal Pionk

Nathan Beaulieu - Luca Sbisa

Goaltenders:

Connor Hellebuyck

Laurent Brossoit

Carl Dahlstrom, Anthony Bitetto and Michael Spacek will be the healthy scratches for Winnipeg tonight. Meanwhile, many key pieces of the Jets organization are still sidelined. Most notably, Dustin Byfuglien is still serving a suspension, while Bryan Little, Mark Letestu, Gabriel Bourque and Mason Appleton are out long-term with injuries.

With a win tonight, Panthers' coach Joel Quenneville would earn his 900th victory in the NHL. Look for his team to fight hard for him. On the Jets' side, Patrik Laine is one point away from the 200 mark.

It should be an interesting and entertaining Hockey game.
