The Winnipeg Jets have traded veteran winger Tanner Pearson to the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick.
Pearson was added to Winnipeg’s depth this past offseason when he inked a one-year, $1 million deal.
This season, he has recorded eight goals and ten assists for 18 points in 52 games, contributing primarily in a bottom-six role.
Since the start of his career in the NHL, Pearson has played for several teams including the Los Angeles Kings, the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Vancouver Canucks, the Montreal Canadiens, and most recently the Jets. He has recorded 157 goals and 168 assists for 325 points.
