Jets win huge on Draft Lottery night.

You probably wouldn't blame any Winnipeg Jets fans who had written any hope of moving up in the draft via the Draft Lottery, after all they only had a %7.5 percent chance of having their name drafted.

However on Saturday night the Jets won big, and although the first overall pick was awarded to the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Jets were awarded the second overall pick which means they will get one of two franchise players believed to be in the draft, center Auston Matthews or winger Patrick Laine.

It's believed the Leafs are leaning towards Matthews although a lot could change from now until the moment the players are actually drafted, but either way the Jets will emerge with an incredibly talented young forward on their roster.
