Last night with approximately 7 minutes left to play in a game in which they were down by five goals, the St. Louis Blues tried to pull goaltender Jordan Binnington to no avail.

Blues head coach Jim Montgomery calls for a goaltending change, but there were two major problems preventing him from doing so.

  1. Binnington wasn't giving up the net. He refused to acknowledge Montgomery and the Blues' bench.
  2. Backup Joel Hofer was nowhere to be found.

It was a bizarre situation that frankly has to be seen to be completely understood.
