Joe Sakic's price for Matt Duchene; what's the 'Hawks have to offer?

Would you pull the trigger?

There's a lot of teams who still believe in their playoff chances, but the Colorado Avalanches aren't one of them. Joe Sakic wants to take advantage of the situation where there's few sellers for the number of buyers and ask a boatload for his trading chips.

Ottawa Sun's Bruce Garrioch writes that if the Avalanche are going to deal Duchene, not only will Sakic want a top-four defenceman, a top prospect and a No. 1 pick in return, the indications are there has to be more in the deal for Colorado.

While this sounds like a crazy idea for the Blackhawks to acquire Matt Duchene, this is the kind of move Stan Bowman used us to.

It's impossible to know for sure what Sakic could want from the Blackhawks, but according to Bruce Garrioch, it could look like this: Niklas Hjalmarsson or Brent Seabrook (top-4 defenceman) + Ville Pokka (top Blackhawks prospect) + a first round pick.

What do you think? Would you pull the trigger or keep your defenceman?
