Joel Armia leaves the Habs for the rest of the season

According to multiple online reports, the Montreal Canadiens have granted forward Joel Armia an indefinite leave of absence to deal with a family issue back home in his native Finland.

The 28 year old forward is still under contract for the next three seasons at $3.4 million per season and is expected to re-join the team in training camp next season.
