John Hayden's rite of passage now completed.

It's a big moment for John Hayden tonight. The skilled rookie got his first start in the league and he's excited as anyone can be.

Of course, you don't join the Blackhawks for free. You need to go through the historical and legendary rite of passage. 

Hayden was a good sport and skated with all his might. One could argue he just wanted to get that alone time over ASAP, but who knows!
