This probably isn't what Jonathan Bernier would have liked to happen in his first game back from injury.
The Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender, who hadn't player since Oct. 31, let in a weak goal to allow the New York Rangers to take a 2-1 lead on Sunday.
Bernier allowed Rangers forward Derek Stepan to score from just over center ice in the second period Sunday after he just chose to dump a harmless looking shot in on Bernier.
It somehow fools Bernier, who wasn't in the right position, slipping in between his pads for the go-ahead goal.
Leafs' forward Joffrey Lupul got Bernier off the hook later in the period, scoring his seventh goal of the season to tie the game 2-2.
Not his finest hour.
