Jonathan Drouin takes one-timer to the head, rushes out of the ice
Scary scene in Montreal…
HockeyFeed
The Montreal Canadiens were fast and furious in the first period of Tuesday’s game against the Detroit Red Wings, but unfortunately for forward Jonathan Drouin - so was the puck.
As he skated close to the Wings’ net to jump on a rebound, Drouin was instead hit straight in the head by a one-timer from teammate, defenseman Brett Kulak.
He immediately fell to the ice, got up and skated to the bench. He went down the tunnel to get repairs. We are hoping he will return soon and will be alright.
Check out the incident:
Wonder if this is going to leave a scar…
