Jordan Binnington abuses Connor McDavid during and after the game!

The Blues’ goalie will never change…

It was a tough night for Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid. When he thought it had made the pass to teammate Leon Draisaitl for the overtime victory, the officials called back the goal.

The Oilers ended up losing to the St. Louis Blues in a shootout.

During the third period however, McDavid dealt with unexpected adversity from none other than Blues goalie Jordan Binnington. We are all aware of the netminder’s ability to flip out in a matter of seconds and get under players’ skin, but he used some creativity on Thursday when he simply laid on top of McDavid right after the whistle.

As the Oilers’ captain rushed towards the Blues’ net and ran into Binnington, the latter slowly laid on top of him to squeeze McDavid between his equipment and the ice.

When the official comes out to break them apart, McDavid appears to be looking at Binnington in bewilderment.

What the heck was that, Binnington?!

The Blues ended up with the shootout, and after the game, Binnington talked about his penalty saves on TV post-game, he made fun of McDavid using the famous humbling nickname.

”McJesus here, yeah…,” he said, making the crew on TV burst out in laughter.

While some of his Blues’ teammates and even head coach Craig Berube would prefer for Binnington to get rid of his antics, I am pretty these ones weren’t criticized because of the Blues’ 4-3 victory in Edmonton.
